Personal Truth?

The phrase “personal truth” hijacks the word truth and bends it to new a meaning, a deceptive meaning, for which we already have language for: “subjective experience”, “opinion”,  “personal belief”. The virtue of truth is always objective and exists independently, and therefore does not change based on someone’s experience, opinion or will.
